The SavantAV SCS-3000 intercom call server

The Savant SCS-3000 Call Server offers the ideal communication add on to allow for panel to panel calls from any intercom-ready Savant touch panel or iOS devices like the iPhone, iPad or iTouch.

The SCS-3000 consists of a single Savant host controller and is a small compact 1U in size, the unit supports up to 72 touch panels to touch panels or iOS to iOS device intercom calls per single SCS3000 device.

A number of optional set ups allows you to set your own preference on how the intercom operates, simply pressing and holding talk allows you to transmit your message, the other iPhones or iPads can be set to automatically hear the message or set the auto answer to disabled and the device will sound a ring until answered.

With the auto screen switching, if someone is using their iPad or iPhone and is on a different screen, when an incoming intercom call is activated the panel automatically switches the device screen over

And what about door entry? no problem, voice only intercom devices can also be integrated into the call server allowing you to speak to who is at the door. although at present video door entry system aren’t directly supported, if combined with an IP camera, then with some simple programming a custom interface can be made to give you visual and talk back ability from your Apple device.
