How does the Rako Lighting Controls system work
Rako lighting controls were first designed to provide a simple solution those who wanted to add intelligent lighting control but wasn’t in a position to re-wire their house. The product range was built to be added to any current homes wiring with dimmer modules installed directly on to the lighting power cable and keypads which are battery operated so can be installed into any standard UK back box.
The system works on RF signalling, so the keypads provide wireless lighting control sending commands to each of the dimmers installed on to your lighting circuits, as standard the panels offered 4 scenes, all off and raise and lower functions
Single room or whole home
Over the years the Rako lighting control range has expanded to such a degree you can now either install a simple single room lighting control system or expand into a complete whole home lighting system. If you decide to install a full house system, a must have is the extremely versatile Rako RAMB1, effectively a centralised computer which offers no end of additional lighting options, and timed events. With it’s built in holiday mode the system can set to record your lighting and then replay when your away offering added security
2011 sees the release of the brand new wired Rako Lighting system, now even more control is possible with panels being able to offer additional functions like tap once, tap twice or hold for more then 2 seconds etc. this allows the system to be opened up to a huge array of additional functions and features
